What to confirm before you buy
- Grid-tie or off-grid: grid-tie units need a grid connection to operate; off-grid units need a battery bank.
- Phase and output rating against your connected load.
- PV array voltage and number of strings against the inverter's MPPT inputs.
- Utility approval requirements if the system will connect to the grid.

Does a grid-tie inverter give me power during an outage?
No. Grid-tie inverters shut down when the grid fails, for safety. For backup you need a hybrid or off-grid inverter with batteries.
How do I know which size I need?
Share a recent electricity bill or load list. Our engineers size the inverter to your loads and roof, or you can start with the solar sizing tool.
Is the price VAT inclusive?
Yes. Marketplace prices are shown in Kenyan shillings and include 16% VAT where it applies. Your tax invoice shows the VAT amount.
How does delivery work?
Nairobi delivery is Ksh 1,500 and courier delivery to the rest of Kenya starts at Ksh 4,500; heavy items are quoted. Delivery is free on orders above Ksh 500,000, and you can collect your order instead.
