Solar water pumping

Water when and where you need it, without diesel.

Submersible and surface solar pumps engineered from your borehole data, head and daily volume.

The challenge

Pumping is costly off the grid

  • Diesel pumps need fuel deliveries and frequent maintenance.
  • Grid connections at remote boreholes are expensive or unavailable.
  • Oversized or undersized pumps waste money or fail to meet demand.
Our approach

Hydraulically sized, not guessed

We use your borehole test report — static and dynamic water level, yield — and the delivery head and daily volume to size the pump, the array and the controller. Storage tanks are sized so water, not batteries, carries you through the night.

Benefits

What solar water pumping delivers

  • No fuel costs

Pumping runs on sunlight during the day.

  • Low maintenance

Brushless DC and AC pumps with protected controllers.

  • Remote-ready

Dry-run and tank-full protection for unattended sites.

Technology

System components

  • Submersible or surface solar pump

    Matched to head and flow.

  • Pump controller / VFD

Tracks maximum power and protects the motor.

  • PV array & mounting

Sized to the pump's power curve.

  • Level sensors

    Dry-run and tank-full control.

Applications

Where it fits

  • Irrigation
  • Livestock watering
  • Community water projects
  • Homes and estates with boreholes
Process

How we deliver it

  1. Consultation

We capture your objective, site details and a recent electricity bill or load list.

  2. Site survey & load analysis

An engineer inspects the roof or ground area, the electrical installation and the loads that matter most.

  3. Engineered design & proposal

System sizing, single-line diagram, equipment schedule and a fixed, itemised quotation.

  4. Supply & installation

Genuine equipment installed to the Energy (Solar Photovoltaic Systems) Regulations by licensed technicians.

  5. Testing & commissioning

Insulation, polarity and protection tests, inverter configuration and handover documentation.

  6. Monitoring & aftercare

Warranty registration, monitoring set-up and a scheduled maintenance plan.

FAQs

Common questions

What information do you need?

Your borehole test report (water levels and yield), the height to your tank, the distance and the litres you need per day.

Can it pump at night?

Solar pumps run in daylight. We size storage tanks for overnight use; battery-backed pumping is possible but rarely economical.
