Terms of use and sale

These terms apply to geosolar.co.ke and its marketplace, customer portal and partner portal, operated by Geo Solarworks Technology Limited. By placing an order or approving a quotation you accept them.

Prices and VAT

Marketplace prices are in Kenya Shillings and include VAT at the prevailing rate unless stated. Quotation line items are shown excluding VAT with VAT added at the total. We may correct obvious pricing errors before an order is confirmed.

Orders and stock

Stock is reserved when you place an order. Orders paid by M-Pesa or card are confirmed when payment is verified with the provider; bank-transfer orders are held for 72 hours pending receipt of funds, after which unpaid orders may be cancelled and stock released.

Payment on invoice and credit

Invoice and credit terms are available only to approved accounts within their approved limit. Overdue balances may suspend credit.

Delivery and collection

Delivery fees are shown at checkout. Risk passes on delivery or collection. Please inspect goods on receipt and report damage or shortages within 48 hours through your account.

Returns

Unused items in original packaging may be returned within 7 days of delivery unless specially ordered or electrically installed. Faulty items are handled under warranty.

Warranty

Products carry the manufacturer’s warranty stated on the product page or datasheet. Installation workmanship warranties are set out in your project handover documents. Warranty requires installation by competent, licensed technicians and correct use.

Quotations and proposals

Quotations are valid for the period stated. Proposals and the “Help Me Choose” recommendations are indicative until confirmed by site survey and engineering design.

Accounts

You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure. Partners may act only for customers linked to their account and must not misrepresent GeoSolar.

Liability and law

Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under the Consumer Protection Act, 2012. These terms are governed by the laws of Kenya.
